Thank you for visiting our website. I founded
BearmanCPA to specifically focus on the needs
of nonprofit organizations.
My interest in nonprofits began in the summer of
1985. I traveled to Bangkok, Thailand to teach
English to young people from some of the
country’s most impoverished rural districts.
That experience awakened me to the presence and
power of the nonprofit sector. Since then I have
held leadership roles at several nonprofits.
In 2006, I formed BearmanCPA to provide
accounting services to nonprofits. BearmanCPA is
a sole proprietorship, licensed in North
Carolina and a member of the AICPA peer review
program. My mission is to provide any nonprofit
– regardless of its size or current financial
condition – with access to the same financial
techniques and best practices employed by the
nation’s leading nonprofits.
